This is the Skybow kit that I bought years ago and finally managed to assemble it. After an eternal struggle with SKIF BTR-152 and Military Wheels UAZ I thought this kit would be an easy one and intended to build it straight out of box. But in the process I couldn't resist replacing kit parts with some scratch-built ones. My goal is to make it look like an M38A1 in Greek service. I saw the pictures on some German or Austrian car dealer site and the camouflage was complex and interesting enough and the vehicle didn't have the ammunition tubes so I made just the 'cradles' on which artillery rounds rest. The resulting vehicle will also not have the jerry can hence the need for an empty thing for it too. All made out of copper foil.
